This one is a bit basic, but I think a new blog post is called for. At least three times now, I’ve seen queries on the Raspberry Pi forums from people who think they are unable to type their login password. The reason for this is that in Linux, when you type in your login password, nothing comes up on the screen. All you have to do is type it and press <ENTER>.
